Bone replacement
The break-out of the tooth is shaping the tooth-bed in accordance with its course and positioning. Atrophy of the gum develops towards the opposite direction once one loses one’s teeth. This is the case when an implantation surgery cannot be carried out due to the jaw’s anatomic state. In the event of this, bone replacement is recommended, by which the dentist can create a sufficient base for the implants.
